Hours: Part Time – 22.5 hours per week
Salary: Up to £28k, FTE

We now have a vacancy for an HR & Payroll Officer, to join our team on a part time basis. You are encouraged to apply if you can meet some or all of the criteria below.
Your key accountabilities will be;
Payroll and admin:
Processing and monthly checking all HR/Payroll data.
Completion of reconciliation process monthly.
Monthly and statutory reporting
Super user for HRIS and T&A systems
HR activities:
First line of contact for all HR queries; supporting with recruitment, disciplinary, absence management, policy and providing administration support.
Proactively managing the HR inbox.
Maintain and update personnel records, archiving leavers.
Liaise with recruitment agencies and support recruitment activity from initial vacancy to on-boarding.
Ensure compliance with right to work checks and occupational health questionnaire.
Delivery of training programmes; time and attendance system, absence management etc.
Ownership of the key contracts onsite; Payroll, Legal, Occupational Health, Reward Gateway, Baxter Storey
Perform related duties or activities, as assigned, within your scope of knowledge, skills or experience.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
Essential
Payroll Admin experience
Minimum 5 A-C GCSEs or equivalent
Good IT skills (including word, excel, PowerPoint)
Ability to build cooperative working relationships at all levels
Demonstrable experience of planning and organising own workload
Able to use software to produce reports, data manipulation, graphs and presentations
Desirable
HR Admin experience
Demonstrable ability to build productive working relationships cross functionally
Demonstrable experience of planning short to medium term for HR Projects
