We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Electronics Engineer to join our dynamic team to design, develop, and test smart connected devices. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in electronic circuit design, PCB layout, and firmware development, with hands-on experience in Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity. This role will be responsible for driving the complete development cycle from concept to testing, ensuring high-quality and reliable designs.
Key Responsibilities:
* Design and develop schematics and PCB layouts for smart connected devices.
* Develop firmware in C++ for microcontrollers, specifically ESP32 and Arduino platforms.
* Utilize Arduino IDE, Visual Studio, or similar environments for coding and debugging.
* Conduct comprehensive testing and validation of electronic designs and firmware.
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to meet project deadlines and requirements.
* Troubleshoot and resolve hardware and firmware issues.
* Implement and optimize Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity in product designs.
* Ensure that designs are scalable, manufacturable, and cost-effective.
* Document design processes, testing results, and modifications clearly and accurately.
* Stay up-to-date with the latest technology trends and standards in electronics engineering.
Required Qualifications:
* Bachelor’s degree in Electronics Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
* 5-7+ years of experience in electronics design, PCB layout, and firmware development.
* Proficiency in designing schematics and PCB layouts.
* Expertise in firmware development using C++ for microcontrollers, with a focus on ESP32 and Arduino.
* Experience with Arduino IDE, Visual Studio, or similar development environments.
* Hands-on experience with Bluetooth and WiFi connectivity solutions.
* Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
* Strong communication skills and the ability to adhere to project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
* Knowledge of Python and MATLAB is a plus.
* Familiarity with regulatory compliance standards (e.g., FCC, CE, UL) is advantageous.
* Experience with advanced testing methods and equipment.
